RDP – Redispersible Polymer Powder 

They are produced from liquid polymer emulsions through spray drying. When mixed with water, they become active again, regaining their polymer properties. In this way, they provide mortars with enhanced adhesion, flexibility, water resistance, and workability.

In short, they act as a type of binder.

Depending on their flexibility properties (rigid, semi-flexible, flexible), the main types include VAE, VAM/VeoVa, VA/VeoVa/A, and VA/VeoVa.
